    For those doing the zone challenge, this is for you. I will email you tomorrow because I forgot the my papers at the gym.

    Hi Everyone,

    I just wanted to give you some additional information regarding the zone challenge. The challenge will last two month, it will end on Saturday, August 15th. You will also retest on this day if you are doing the two test body composition testing.

    I will need everyone to email me back their starting weight as soon as possible.

    I will be attaching a calendar so you can keep track of your points. Every two weeks you will send me your daily points.

    Remember, you gain points for the following things:
    You can earn 5 points per day
    1. Taking your vitamins and fish oil

    2. Drinking half your body weight in water (for example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you would drink 75 fluid ounces of water).

    3. Stretching 15 minutes a day

    4. Working out 30 minutes a day (can be something other than Crossfit)

    5. Sticking to the diet

    **You can also earn an extra point by running a 5K

    If you have not paid $25 (cash only), please do so by this Wednesday. You can give your money to one of the coaches or someone that is working in the office.

    · There is a lot of information regarding the zone diet on the web and there are tons of books about the diet. One I recently found that goes more in depth to the diet is called, “The Badass Body Diet” by Christmas Abbott. She refers to food by bricks instead of blocks, but essentially it is the same concept. There are also workouts in the back of the book for those that will be vacationing this summer.
